With your digital camera and our guidance, we’ll help you improve your skills and the way you interact with your subjects.
Dates: Sat/Sun April 24th and 25th 9 am – 4 pm, @ the Harwood main building

Materials: a manual exposure capable digital camera & laptop if you have one; additional items list mailed upon registration.
Cost: $105 (Harwood members $90)
Tortuga Photo Workshops has partnered with Harwood Arts Center in offering this exciting weekend classes. The Gathering of Nations is the largest PowWow of Indian tribes in North America. It is a rare opportunity to glimpse the richness of our native culture. This weekend workshop is an exploration of the fundamental principles, techniques and application of available light image making with a digital camera. Our goal is to get beyond the obvious say cheese “photo ops” and find the genuine moments that tell the larger truth of the gathering. After then event, we’ll review and discuss our photos while using some of the fundamental elements of Adobe Lightroom.
Students must furnish transportation to and from University Stadium and admission in addition to materials listed above.
